NCAA relocates 2016-17 championships out of NC in response to HB2

September 12, 2016

The organization's public statement on the move cited a policy of fairness and inclusion. This is an enormous loss for the southern state, accounting for 14.54% of the total HB2 losses to date.
"Fairness is about more than the opportunity to participate in college sports, or even compete for championships."
