Here's another unfortunate loss for North Carolina. The police department of Duck, NC was planning to host a spring conference but had to cancel due to the number of travel bans to the state over HB2. At least 15 people were planning on attending from out of town. Losing this conference in Duck increases the negative economic impact of HB2 even further. Scheduled for the Paul F. Keller Meeting Hall, the loss of this conference is an unfortunate side effect of the discriminatory bill. The loss of the Duck PD Spring Conference is just another in a long line of HB2 related losses for the state of North Carolina.
